He stole from and lied to the elderly, he deserves to be judged harshly.
I hope they can find enough of his assets to seize and sell in the name of reparations to return a dividend from the victim's investment.
Sucks for his family, but he's still a crook.

Yeah, it's not the poor guy's fault. He had nothing to do with creating all those family responsibilities, and those mean old seniors probably forced him into scaming the money from them.
